Whenever the name Stella Dimoko Korkus is mentioned, one knows that hot tatafo has dropped or is about to land. Stella Dimoko Korkus was born on August 22. However, she has not revealed the year of her birth and continues to keep it a closely guarded secret from the world.

She was reportedly born and raised in Lagos State, where she had her elementary and secondary school education. She attended the University of Benin, where she graduated with a Third Class in English Language and Linguistics. According to her, she left UNIBEN with a low grade because she suffered sexual victimisation during her time at the renowned ivory tower

Career

Korkus is regarded as one of Nigeria’s most well-known bloggers today, but her career did not begin the way she anticipated it would.

Upon her graduation from school, she initially desired to work in the banking sector but was unsuccessful. She then took on the first thing that came into her hands after her banking dream was evaporated: Journalism. She landed her first job as a writer at Hints magazine and subsequently moved to Encomium magazine.

Korkus made the switch to another form of print journalism as she briefly wrote for some newspapers. After some time, she began penning news articles for internet publications, and thereafter, she started her blog. Although she had purchased her domain, the blog was shut down.

She eventually quit her job as a newspaper writer after garnering relevant experience and decided to become a full-time blogger. She is the proprietor of the Stella Dimoko Korkus (SDK) blog, which is well-known for its distinctive blogging features and fashion.

Stella Dimoko scandal

Korkus has had several feuds with Tonto Dikeh on many occasions. In 2019, Korkus accused Dikeh of sleeping around with pastors. The argument continued on their Instagram pages. Dikeh denied the accusations levelled against her by the blogger.

Bobrisky, who was trying to side with his (her) then-best friend (Dikeh), was caught up in the feud. Korkus claimed that the gay community in Nigeria had rejected him for being stinky and smelly.

Korkus and another well-known blogger and her rival, Linda Ikeji, have also clashed. Ikeji who is the owner of the Linda Ikeja blog, was accused by Korkus of lifting a source from her blog without acknowledging her.

However, Korkus got the taste of her own medicine recently as she was engulfed by a scandal concerning her marital life. According to Gist Lover, a controversial blog, the blogger allegedly cheated on her husband over the small size of his penis. Gist lover posted a 30-minute call reportedly in January 2022, in which her alleged accomplice, Richard, admitted to having multiple affairs with her in Germany, as evidence. Expectedly, the story caused outrage on social media, as many netizens lambasted the blogger and demanded that she either refutes or confirm the story.

The blogger fired back as she shared Richard’s picture on her Instagram profile and referred to him as a blackmailer, in response to the leaked voice note. According to her, Richard’s gaslighting is to blame for everything. She disclosed on her Instagram page that she is presently caring for a cancer patient and has to be completely focused, but did not reveal or state the identity of the person.

Family

In 2003, the blogger got wedded to Stefan Korkus. She relocated to Germany with him in 2004. Stella Dimoko Korkus’s spouse reportedly assists her in maintaining the blog and conducting news topic searches.

The couple has children, although not much is known except for her having a son.
